Instead of “practice what you preach”, it should be “practice what you learn.”
I don’t know about you, but I make a few mistakes. And if you are hard on yourself like I am, there is too much pressure in living up to the pre-determined criteria. I have to do this, this and this and maybe just maybe I can earn God’s love. Well, we can all allow for God’s grace when we practice what we have learned from. It’s not that you become a hypocrite when you do something wrong, but you become wiser when you actually take time to open yourself to becoming a better person. Being open to learning from your mistakes is key, because if you don’t learn from your mistakes, then your repeated actions will fail you every single time.
On the other side of this, when you do something right, take the time to celebrate what got you there.
So, what have you learned recently? Leave your comment below.

Yes Adam. I agree. I guess recently I learned to stop and listen because I often forget that others around me may not be on the same page. Especially when it comes to my kids. I need to stop and listen to them so I can hear what they are saying. To guide them I need to know what is influencing them.
