Lift up your heads, O ye gates; And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors: And the King of glory will come in.
Psalm 24:7 (ASV)
I have heard this subject talked about from multiple people in the last two weeks, so I feel that I need to write about this.
Having thankfulness in all situations is huge. Showing thankfulness and even acknowledgment for things in your life will bring favor. This is so important because it will keep you positive even when you have those “droughts” in life. As you know, life isn’t always perfect.
As far as thankfulness goes, just put in in perspective of your interactions with other people. If someone gives you something and you don’t thank them, would you be apt to give them something again? Probably not. But, if you turn that situation around and are thankful for someone else’s actions, then they will probably keep you in mind in the future.
A good way to see how thankful you are is to pay attention to the way you talk and how you pray. All we have to do is be thankful and receive. I guarantee that you can find at least one way that you are blessed.
Instead of complaining, find something to be grateful for in every situation.
So, what are you thankful for?

I agree totally! I was reading a book called Remembrance by Dag Heward Mills and it writes “The ability to remember is the single most important quality for a minister, why because it makes you grateful to God”. Ungratefulness causes discontentment, conflict and wars. There are people we must be grafteful to. God wants us to be thankful and grateful for all His blessings and the channels that he uses. God bless you! http://www.daghewardmills.org
