How To Deal With Insecurities

These are my feet. You will never see me wear flip flops even though I have four pairs. I have broken all my toes at least once and some of them grew back looking weird. Especially that middle toe on the right foot. My feet are probably the one thing that I’m most insecure about. When Jasmine and I were dating, I wouldn’t let her touch them or see them. Actually, this is probably the first time anyone has seen my feet other than my family. Now that I have let everyone in the world know about my insecurity, you can now do the same if you want. It feels good to let this stuff out.

Tell us what your insecurities are. I dare you.

I have a lazy eye, and I am extremely uncomfortable looking into someone's eyes while conversing… I tend to squint with my right eye to the point that it is almost always closed…

My weight, though I've lost 30+ pounds I'm still self-conscious. Suck my belly in.

My teeth. I have really weak teeth. In the process of getting some fixed, so hopefully that little insecurity will go away.

My small-ness. I’m so short and even though I’m 16 people mistake me for 12.
Also, people say I have big ears. It’s hard to be a teenager and not look like one, you know?

I'm insecure about 1 tooth… it sticks out a little in front of another tooth, but not much. Still, it's enough to be quite self-conscious about.

I'm 29 years old and I have body acne. It's not as bad as it used to be, but no matter what I do it's still there. I've never liked taking my shirt off to go swimming or anything like that… 🙁

I'm pretty insecure about my legs…I have eczema..and it's not so great on my legs…it's gotten a lot better, though. I used to never wear shorts, but I wear them all the time now..I still get insecure about them…
