I have been blogging for three years consistently now and it has been the same format for that time. I did do a rebranding during that time, but other than that, the format hasn’t really changed and I was the sole contributor to this space. So, I have had an idea for awhile, but am finally putting it into place. I wanted to create a blog where I would contribute some content, but I wanted to form a team of writers that could focus on content in their area of expertise. An idea that is bigger and better that offers useful information from expert writers in a specific field. In return, this also allows readers to get a weekly dose of fresh thoughts from industry-leading writers. If this sounds interesting to you, then great, because it is happening here on asmithblog.com. Starting next week you will get to hear from experts on a daily basis that I have hand-picked to publish content for asmithblog.com. So, let me introduce you to the writers that I have put into place to make this happen:
Jackie Bledsoe, Jr. – Relationships Indianapolis, IN Jackie writes a Family Leadership blog at jackiebledsoe.com. He is the creator of the series, “March DADness: Preparing Dads to Make a Championship Run in Fatherhood,” & the author of, “Lovers and Fighters: How to Love & Fight Your Way to a Better Marriage” (available soon).
Courtney Gordner – Social Media Huntington Beach, CA Courtney is a blogger with a passion for all things internet and social media related! Read more from her on her own blog, talkviral.com.
Daniel Kosmala – Focus/Time Management Atlanta, GA Daniel is currently a nonprofit manager for Radical Mentoring. Through years of making countless mistakes, Daniel has discovered how to not only be an efficient manager of his time and resources, but also how to focus on the things that matter most.
You can read more from him on his own blog, danielkosmala.com.
Leo J. Lampinen – Leadership Houston, TX Leo is passionate about leadership and dealer in supplemental vitamins of influence for leaders at all levels. Read more from him on his own blog, leadershipvitamin.com.
Jacob Miller – Creativity Green Bay, Wisconsin Jacob is a leader, a mentor through personal development, a writer and a photographer. He shows us how we can implement creativity in our own lives and gives us advice from his personal work. Read more from him on his own blog, fragments.kineticbear.com.
Julia Winston – Communication Oxford, MS Julia is a communication skills consultant, trainer and blogger. You can read more from her on her own blog, bravecommunicationllc.blogspot.com.
The topics are of course staying the same and I will personally see every post before the public does. And of course, I will be adding content to the site as well, but my role with this blog has now officially switched to “editor/writer”. I am excited about the switch and I look forward to seeing what we all gain from this change. I am confident that you will enjoy the fresh perspective from these knowledgable, experienced writers that I have been following for quite some time and the new content that I will be introducing to you soon as well. Thank you so much for being such a huge part of this community.
