Rebranding From Jackalopekid

I have been contemplating the move from the online branding of jackalopekid to something else for a while now.

I needed a name to go with what I write about on my blog. Something that made more sense.

As you already know with branding, your name needs to tie into everything else. I was breaking an online golden rule.

I was also tired of answering the question of, “What does jackalopekid mean?”

I had built everything on that name and I didn’t want to change it.

But, I do think that making this change now is important, because sometimes change is good.

So, now everything on the internets has been changed to asmithblog.

I wonder if selling jackalopekid stuff on eBay will net big profits.

Congrats on the change! Here is to many more years of opening people’s hearts and minds.

I believe it’s a good idea to change to your own name.  I was one of those thousands who couldn’t figure out what jackalopekid meant.
