The best practice for any writer is to consistently keep a blog.
I love to write, and maybe you do, too. I used to do a lot of journaling, but now I share most of my thoughts here on the blog, and over on social media. I have found that it is much different to write out what I believe, or say what I believe, than to just think it. Blogging then is a way to make tangible the intangible. My writing has evolved over the past ten years through this process, and has let both me and my readers see the change unfold.
Through the journey I have found that writing here has been a way to solidify what I believe. So, now if someone asks me a question on a topic that I write about, I usually already know the answer. If I can’t remember what I said about it five years ago, I can still look it up. And if you think you’ll want to write a book in the future, the practice of blogging can be very beneficial in that scenario, as well. Blogging can actually do a lot of good things.
