What About You?

I would love to know more about you. What is something you want everyone else to know? It could be that you are afraid of heights, it could be that you have six toes on one foot, or it could be that you want to be an actor one day. It can be anything.

Two things that many people don’t know about me is that I have a crazy fear of heights and that I am starting my own business as I type this.

What about you? What is something that many people don’t know about you?

I don't know when it started, but, its annoying when i have to go back and change words that i capitalized, that shouldn't be. I am trying hard to break it!

I am very personable. Ppl like interacting with me so very much. They find me very funny and intelligent and think very, very highly of me, yet I am never comfortable being held in such high esteem. I was treated poorly by everyone when i was a kid and I think I became comfortable being overlooked and ignored, even though I am very socially savvy as an adult.

I LOVE to sing, but can only hit about 5 true notes unless singing next to another (very strong) alto. My heart sings, but alas, my voice has never been able to do much. Happiest when singing alone in my car on long Montana drives.
        I too, HATE heights.

I am really good at compartmentalizing parts of my life. Too good, in fact. Trying to integrate them and be the whole person I was meant to be. This will, naturally, mean that some of the boxes get totally unpacked, and others get thrown straight into the fire.

Too obtuse and philosophical? Just where I am at, and you did say "anything". 😀

I have tried so hard to be beautiful from the outside. I've cried, secretly hoped, wore makeup and tried endless ways to appear beautiful. This week, after years, God revealed to me something beyond beautiful. Besides the concept of already being beautiful to Him, He revealed to me that I will only find true beauty from Him. A concept so simple of understanding yet so complicated when blinding by the exterior complexity.

I guess this is something I needed to know and affirm for myself too.

I do have a thing for marshmallows (see above for comment on Alece's comment).

I have a hard time going out and doing things with girlfriends cause I'm not with my hubby and if I were to choose I'd much rather be with him.

Every morning at work I eat oatmeal with a bright pink plastic spoon I saved from a frozen yogurt place. I'd rather have the lime green one but I haven't gotten one yet.

Let's see, since you mentioned it, I will not get on a tall ladder, heights and non sturdy things don't go together to me. That is probably why God made me 5'7", less distance to fall! 🙂 If I feel safe I am good, you know like rollercoasters, airplanes, tall buildings (from the inside) Not sure if that makes sense to anyone.

Feel called to ministry, keeping my eyes and heart open to God to see where and when it will happen. It would be in the area of technical ministry/media/analysis.

Since it is the season, I love Peeps, how can you go wrong with marshmallow and sugar!

I have been struggling with this for about 6 years, but just recently I’ve come to deal with it and accept it as who I am….with the help of my Lord of course. I still struggle and still hide it, but I am leaning on God to help me through.

Drunks scare me. Not being able to control yourself is never a good thing imo. Ditto for drug users.

I home school all three of my kids- fun, scary, and a huge responsibility.
