I would think that one important thing is to maximize and “squeeze” the time you dedicate to social media by splitting in at least 4 times a day with a good plan and budget of time. Traffic and people change trough out the day and they could certainly miss you tweets / posts.
Definitively the most important thingfor me is to engage your readers with you and not make them feel ignored.
