if you had to choose one…

I have been thinking about social media a lot lately.
This includes each social media site that I use and what they exactly do.

The three that I mainly use are…

my wordpress blog, facebook and twitter.

With my blog I can write long posts, but I really can’t see what everyone else is doing unless they comment about it on my blog.

Twitter is pretty limited with the 140 character rule. I really love the interaction that happens on twitter, but like I said, it’s limited.

Then there’s facebook.
It has everything.
You have space to write long posts, chat, play annoying games and you can see what everyone else is doing.

It really pains me to say this, but facebook is my favorite social media site overall for those reasons.

If I had to use one site, it would be facebook.

If you can’t be my friend anymore, I understand.

So, would you choose facebook, twitter or your blog to communicate with your readers and why?

That is like asking if I would like to use a screwdriver as my only tool. Sometimes you need a hammer. Sometimes you need a wrench. Sometimes you need a saw.

I have a Blog, Facebook and twitter. I think you can get bogged down with all of the different flavors out there and there are sure to be more. Facebook is first for me, don’t know what order I would put the other two in. I would do away with the other two if I could only have one. Oh and @Bob sometimes you just need to hire a carpenter/mechanic and step away from the hammer :~)

To be honest I would say my blog. The reason being is that it gives me so much more freedom to creatively communicate.

i like twitter most because i can check in with the largest number of people but i don’t have to delve deeper into their lives if i don’t want to.

as far as still liking you…. i am too invested in praying for you and your growing family to give up my information… so if you were only on facebook i would have to be your friend there so i would know what is going on. 🙂

I’d say facebook then twitter then blog. Facebook is so much easier to simply write and post then see what happens. Twitter I use alot throughout the day if something comes up that I feel needs to be said and I can say within 140 characters. With the blog, it really depends on how I am feeling, I honestly just use it as a place to spill stuff but a good majority of the time I don’t post.
