I am fascinated with icons that stand the test of time. You know, the ones who leave a lasting legacy.

Leaving a lasting legacy should be one of our goals, right?

Take this video of Michael Jordan for instance. Most will still argue that he is the best basketball player of all time, even fifty years from now. Why is that? Because all around, he was a great player who won big games. Sure he wasn’t perfect, but he did what he needed to do to win. But even more than that, he had a specific quality.

It doesn’t have to be Michael Jordan. Whether it is a sports figure, a teacher, a president or someone with a desk job.

It doesn’t really matter what title they have, if they have greatness, they will have this one special thing…

And that one quality trait is influence.

Icons stand the test of time because they put more in.
