I know you are busier than you ever have been, but it won’t get any better. I can guarantee that. You will have more commitments on top of more commitments with work, kids and all those other things that you want to accomplish. My guess is that the habits you have in place right now will have to change in order to handle more.

Your habits have

to change

in order to handle more.

Since you are probably in the group of people that are getting busier, here are 5 tips to help you have a better day:

1. Wake up earlier than you are right now, but still get enough sleep.
2. Do everything in your power to stay at you best physically, spiritually and mentally. Constantly put good in.
3. Keep your schedule realistic.
4. Priorities matter, so put them first in your day. Find your passions and be excited about these things.
5. Communicate effectively to those around you.

If you implement these five things into your life today, I can guarantee that you will get more done and feel better while doing it.

  1. Adam, great post with great reminders.  I could benefit from posting this somewhere in plain view for me to see everyday.

  2. These are some great tips. I’m currently working on number 1, as I’ve seen how productive I am in the early morning and want to make that a habit.
Number 3, however, is just quickly losing ground to all of the things I’m trying to do at once. That’ll be my next project, though.
