Do you ever feel frustrated with your important work? Like it’s not getting in the hands of the right people, or it’s not making a big enough impact, or you’re doing something wrong, or you’re not putting enough time into your work, or…? It’s in the moment of experiencing these frustrations that many people quit. But what if these frustrations were a sign that you were right where you needed to be? What if you could change your perspective and see frustration as a sign of the good to come?
Here is why frustration can be a good thing:
Frustration is typically a sign that you care. And truly caring about something important is more than most people can say. And once you dig past the initial reaction of being frustrated, you’ll probably see that there’s a good reason you’re frustrated in the first place.
Frustration could be the thing that pushes you to do better work. And if there is a problem that you’re frustrated by, then you could be the one who has the solution that everyone needs. But first, you have to be willing to work through the frustration.
