Just looking at the different mountains in our lives makes us second guess whether or not we want to even make an attempt. Getting to the top or getting great results sounds amazing at first, but putting the work in to get there just doesn’t always sound appealing. 1. Know that being uncomfortable is coming.
The number one reason that we stop doing something is that we don’t like being uncomfortable. Think about going to the gym. Most people stop going after a short period of time because you have to put work in to not only get to the gym and fit it in your schedule, but to also work out. But, in the end, it ends up making you feel better. In fact, being uncomfortable is a natural response to almost anything worth doing in life. There are many things that will keep you up late at night, get you up early in the morning and keep you constantly busy throughout the day, but that’s just part of it. Devote yourself to pushing through the obstacles and coming out a better person on the other side of them.
Stop being afraid of the journey. Embrace it.
2. Discipline yourself to persevere.
You have to learn to persevere through tough times to see better results. It is easy to pick up something, do it for a minute and stop. It is difficult to do something and keep doing it, even when adversity comes. If you aren’t persevering, I would challenge you to reevaluate the dreams that you are pursuing. It might not be your dream… It could be someone else’s. It could also be that you need to fall back in love the dream and the pursuit of it. Take the time to really think about why you are chasing your dreams and the WHY behind them.

3. Believe in yourself.
Think positive thoughts more often. Cut out the self-doubt. Have more confidence. Get better results. You have the capabilities and the knowledge to succeed. Sometimes you just need to believe that you can actually do it. The other part of this is to surround yourself with other people who believe you can do it. If people are always putting you down, it easier to start doubting yourself. Guard your thoughts and start believing in yourself.
The moment you believe that you can achieve your dreams is the moment you can begin moving forward.
The sky is the limit for you once you mentally prepare yourself, persevere through the tough times and begin believing that you can do what you put your mind to and put work into.
