Make Me A Better Person

Jasmine makes me a better person. Well, she makes me want to be a better person. She makes me want to make others smile. She makes me want to surprise her. She makes me want to love her more. I don’t praise her enough publicly, but she is my better half. The one thing she has in her possession that I need more of is compassion. She feels it when I don’t.

What do you wish you had more of?

awesome post bro. I lack in this area tremendously, still working on it. Life long commitment sounds scary and makes us sometimes put important stuff on the back burner because its life long. But we arent promised tommorrow, so its best if we honor and love and cherish our spouses today, because who knows what a day can bring.

dude…my wife reminds me of 2 things all the time…
1-we have to wake up and make choices everyday-one of those is to love God completely
2-Only by having a right relationship with God can we continue to make the choice to love God completely everyday…

I would also say patience… but finding my "shut-up button" is a close second.

Wow! What a wonderful post. You are setting a good example. I would say that I need to be quiet and listen more, not only to God but to people. I used to be a great listener and I am not exactly sure why that changed, but I'd like to get it back.

I tend to be a person that speaks my mind, in the heat of the moment. Thank God for an awesome wife, that does not have that trait, and who are very sensitive to this particular character trait.

she will subtly remind me when I am getting out of line, and usually pull me in the right direction. I love her for it, usually only after the fact though. Haha

Good post. One character trait? Only one? That would be peace – defined as calm assurance – in the midst of the storm…followed by patience…
