I Will Miss Atlanta

Screen shot 2009-10-08 at 10.10.04 PM

Sitting in Dallas thinking about the great city I just left. Many great things happened in Atlanta and here are just some of the things I will miss.

I will miss my church.
I will miss my friends.
I will miss The Varsity.
I will miss southern hospitality.

What is your favorite thing about the city you live in?

The Braves. Too bad they sucked it up at the end of this season.

BTW. Just started following @thejonsmith and he's from Atlanta. I think you know him. Not sure how legit his comment was about him buying me some coffee, but i'll take him up on that! 🙂 It could have just been a auto-follow message.

Yea, I would not drink any coffee that looked poisoned. Haven't been following him that long, but figure he would be a good guy to recommend to ya. It used to be sketch to meet people in person that you have met online, still is, but not as common to think about the negative now that so many "tweetups" go on like every day. Crazy though though.

Interesting how some cities are bigger in some things than some other cities are. One would think Denver would be on the concert list but Atlanta is a southern city – big difference. The views are amazing in Denver and the airport is pretty cool – just out in the middle of no where! We really like the Seattle area but Denver is a great city, too.

We will certainly miss having you around @chapelhill. But as for me, well, I see it as an opportunity to visit a friend in a place Ive always wanted to go. Get setup and we'll come. That is, of course, assuming you will have us. 😉
