If any tool gives me back more time to create, I am all for it. So, I have searched for these kinds of tools to save me time online and this post lists just a few of my favorites.
Below are three of the productivity tools that I use to get things done:
1. Hootsuite
I use Hootsuite to tweet and post updates to my facebook page because it is the only program that seems to work for me and I have tried them all. I also schedule any tweets that need to be posted at a later time through Hootsuite because I like the functionality of it. I tried buffer for awhile, but I just couldn’t get used to it. I like everything in one spot and that is what Hootsuite offers me. Try it out for yourself if you aren’t already and let me know what you think of it as your social media client.
2. Evernote
As I said earlier this week, I use Evernote for all notes. I really is the best app that I have found for this. I even get some writing done in the app, even though that is not really what the app was designed for. I mainly use it to bookmark certain pages, save photos and organize documents that I need to get to quickly. If you want to find out more about Evernote, you really should read Evernote Essentials (Version 3) from Brett Kelly. I highly recommend that you check this eBook out. At $29, it may seem expensive, but it really is the quickest and easiest way to effectively use Evernote. It is all up to date information too, which is where most tips from others on Evernote can be confusing, because the interface recently changed. If you don’t enjoy the material, Brett offers a 100% money back guarantee. I really don’t see how you can lose with that. He explains in detail how you can use Evernote to make life easier and we all want that, right? Try using evernote for jotting down all of your notes and let me know if you like it more than what you are using right now for note taking.
3. Mailchimp
I use MailChimp for all of my newsletters. It is what I used for getting my eBook out to the public and in their hands and I continue to use it for other things. They make it so convenient to capture email addresses and send out my newsletters at once. They also give feedback and analytics. I love the convenience that Mailchimp offers. Next time you need to send out a newsletter, try using mailchimp. I am absolutely sure that it will fit your needs.
4. Oqobo
You should choose Oqobo for website hosting because they offer personal service and they are able to quickly assist you with pretty much any question you may have for your hosting. Another reason to choose Oqobo is that they have hosting options that fit your needs, no matter how big or small they are. I have been using Oqobo over a year now for my hosting needs and my expectations have been exceeded every single time that I have needed assistance. I have been with three other web hosting services and have never experienced the service that I have received from Oqobo. If you are in need of website hosting, my readers can use the promo code “1month” when signing up and you will get one month of free hosting from them.
Disclosure: I am an affiliate for the above products from Hootsuite, Evernote Essentials, Mailchimp and Oqobo. Even though this is the case, I only recommend products that I personally use and enjoy to my readers.
