What Is True Success?

Success- The accomplishment of an aim or purpose.

People define success in many different ways. I can’t tell you what success is for you. It has to be specific to each person.

But the question usually is, “How do I actually make it specific to myself?”

Actually, most people haven’t really thought about it. The average person wanders through life aimlessly and hopes that they end up at their intended destination. This process just doesn’t work. You need to know what your aim and purpose is, so that you can start moving in the right direction.

But, what happens if you have a day that doesn’t go as planned? Simple.

Here is one step that you can include in your life today that will help you reach success that is personal to you when an “off day” comes your way…

Write down your God-given definition of success and pursue it everyday.

Be clear. Be honest. Know what is important.

In this personal mission statement include your relationships, career and dreams.

The reason that writing this down is so important is that you need to see that reminder of what success means to you every single day. You will forget what you are pursuing on some days. I am not trying to be negative here. I am just being honest.

Reading what your heart’s true intentions are on a daily basis will put you back on track.

At the end of the day, you will know that true success is fully accomplishing your own personal mission statement… and you will already have it written down.

What would you define success in your own life as? You can leave your comment below.

Really good post. I’ve been thinking about this lately. And I think when you write down statements or resolves or goals, you’re more apt to keep them. Thanks for this reminder!
