Good in, Good out.
That just means when you put good things into your life, then positive actions and words will come out. On the other side of that is when you put bad things in, negative words and actions will come out. Makes sense right? This concept works for every area of life.
So, how can we make sure that we stay more positive even through negative times in our lives?
The biggest negative area that people don’t even notice is the words that they speak. People will say “I can’t”… or “I will never”… or they will include negative words and not even think twice about it or when they are with others the conversation always goes downhill quickly.
The words that we speak are a good indication of what is going in.
If you have ever noticed that your language is more negative than it should be, then you know you have to mentally choose to be positive. Make sure your words are life-giving and not life-draining.

It is more difficult to stay positive than ever. We are surrounded by negativity everywhere we turn. But, there is great news. You get to choose your outlook on life.
Be honest with yourself. What area in life could you be more positive in? I’ll go first. You can leave your comment below.

I need to be more intentional with what I let in. Personally, it is the movies that I watch and conversation with others are the areas that I need to focus on more.

For me, its forecasting projects at work where I need the most ‘work’ on positivity. My preference is to under promise and ovdr deliver. I prefer to be able to keep my word once it is given. The tension then, I think it stems from balancing reality with optimism. This may happen in personal finances, marriage, relationships, etc… I don’t believe the tension is only present at work. Anyone else have a hard time balancing reality with optimism?

I do, Brad. Really been thinking about it over the past few months. Great thoughts.
