At some point in the last day, week, or month, you crossed paths with someone who impacted you in a positive way.
It could be your Starbucks barista that makes your coffee every morning.
It could be your boss.
It could be a coworker.
It could be your trash collector.
It could be your professor.
Whoever it may be, they make a difference. And it feels really good to recognize others when it is someone who makes your day better. Take a second and brag on someone else.
Besides your family, who is someone that impacts your day?

This is more than one person, but my students impact me on a daily basis. They challenge me in my faith, encourage me that the work I do matters, and continue to astound me with their faith. These kids have the potential to change the world…and already are.

Every day I ride the bus and the believe it or not the attitude of the bus driver impacts my attitude going into the office in the morning and my mood on the way home. If they’re cheerful and wish me a hearty “good morning” it’s easier for me to have a bright outlook on the day. If they’re grumpy and gruff I always need extra coffee to get me going.

That’s awesome that you notice that it makes a difference 🙂 It’s nice when people realize that they can set the tone.

Lately, my roommate has had a positive impact on me. Since I’m unemployed, he let’s me know that he has been praying for me and genuinely asks how I’m doing personally dealing with the stress of being unemployed.
