What Do You Spend The Most Time Doing?

I spend tons of time with things that don’t have to do with my priorities. It’s easy to move focus from what is important to what’s unimportant without even realizing it. I sometimes find myself trying to escape what I know I am supposed to be doing by replacing it with what I know I’m not supposed to be doing. I know I am supposed to be writing, but instead I am playing on my phone. I know my wife’s love language is quality time, yet I still suggest we watch television.
What do you spend the most time doing?

sadly…probably not important things on the computer like facebook or computer games, or twitter or blogs

I could be probably better spending my time doing something more productive.

My kids, and maybe not enough with myself. This week has been hard for me, if I can share. I found myself alone alot because my son, 17, march break and all, has spent alot of time away with his friends and I found myself alone. I cry everytime I think when he leaves the nest, what am I going to do? I have no special someone to be with, I have one great friend whom I do see once or twice a week, but really, when I am alone, I fear life. I hate being alone, I really do, I am so busy taking care of everyone else and I asked myself the ultimate question the other day, who will take care of me? My only wish this week was that I wished I had someone special to nurture me. Those are my thoughts.

YOU DO have Somebody who looks out for you. He's always been there… He's just waiting for you to reach out to Him and spend some time to get to know Him as your Comforter and Best Friend 🙂

Lately it’s seems the focus has been lots of dramatic extended family stuff and work. This weekend some friends and I are going on an adventure in the woods. Time to disconnect from technology (which I love dearly) and plug in to God and friendship.

I spend too much time with my Blackberry… and Twitter, hahaha! However, I would love to spend more time in nature, on my own. Maybe one day when I go hiking or camping with friends. I believe that silence of the cities, nothing but the sounds of nature just helps us become closer, more in tune with God. The silence of nature is when we hear God speaking to us the most.
It's my goal, someday; at least one whole day, away from Blackberries, laptops, and work, to just spend my time and walk with God in His marvelous creation.
