Social media sometimes gets a bad rap. You know what I’m talking about — “Get off social media, so you can get stuff done.” And while there is truth to this, and I have told people the same thing when they can’t seem to focus, social media is what connected me to my audience ten years ago when I began using social media. It actually still grows my life coaching business more than any other factor, so as you can imagine, I am extremely grateful for it. It is social media that leads people to send me emails, and emails help me connect with people on a personal level.
These emails include many different subjects, but they mostly pertain to the content I produce and my life coaching business. One of the first questions that come up in our second or third conversation is, “So Adam, can you help me make more money?” Not a bad question, as making a living is important, but helping others make more money isn’t my sole focus as a life coach. (Many people will take my advice and will make more money with it, but others will use my advice to accomplish other goals.) What I do is I help people live better lives, produce better work, and gain back more time. And for someone to see all of these results, they need a plan. But even after helping people create a plan for their lives, in the end, it is up to them to execute the plan. You see, plans can only take someone so far, but it is hard work and dedication that brings results. I know I say this a lot, but the reason I do this is that people need to hear this advice repeatedly for it to stick. People want shortcuts, get rich quick schemes, and instant results, but the truth is that life is a marathon, not a sprint.
Plans can only take someone so far, but it is hard work and dedication that brings results. Share on XI’ll never be into get rich quick schemes, as that’s a short-term game. I want people to live happy lives, not just happy weekends. I show up to work every single day, just like you. But just know that the more work you put into the correct things, the greater the reward you will receive from it. This is a principle that has always worked and will continue to work until the end of time.
The more work you put into the correct things, the greater the reward you will receive. Share on XKeep working at the right things and good things will come. The best results are found in perseverance.

Nice practical piece Adam. I am very proud of you – probably not quite as proud as our mother – but very proud indeed. I love your mission statement posted above.
