Knowing who you are now and who you want to become are two of the most important things to know in life. Here are a few things to pay attention to while you are on this journey:
1. The actions that you make will determine who you become.
Whether you realize it at the time or not, each decision makes up where you will be and who you will become.
2. Be intentional with every moment.
Yes, that is right. Plan things out. And when you are there, BE THERE. No, really be there. Put down the phone. Don’t put a computer screen between you and those closest to you. Give your full attention. Know what you want from each day and go make it happen.
3. Learn from your mistakes.
Some people will keep doing what they have always done and get the same results that they don’t really want. You have to change your actions to get different results. Make sure to look at the things you want to repeat and learn from them as well. You need to know what got you to good things that you want repeated.
4. Know how to move on.
Stop dwelling on the negative past. Easier said than done, right? When you think of all the life you have ahead of you and all the people you will have the opportunity to affect for the positive for the rest of your life, this process might become easier. Those times that you may now regret helped you become who you are today and hopefully you learned something during the process. Also, remember that you control you and nobody else. Even if other people don’t move on, you can choose to.
5. Have action plans on becoming who you want to become.
Now that you’re ready to move on, start creating a plan that will help you achieve the “ideal” you. As we have talked about before, it is always easier to know who you want to be, so you can head in that direction. Start writing down some characteristics that you want to be remembered for and go after them.
What is one thing you have learned about yourself while on the journey of finding who you want to become? You can leave a comment below.

I found I need to be my self and not someone else. This is an important aspect for anyone to know and do. I really like you points, especially number 4. Great post.
