First of all, let me just say I love this time of year. We celebrate Jesus’ birth, spend time with family, play in the snow, get new toys, eat great food, yada yada yada.

Ok. So, don’t laugh at what you’re about to hear.

*NSYNC’s Home For Christmas is my favorite Christmas album of all time. I even know to put the “*” with NSYNC. Wow.

Your view on who I am has probably changed now and you now know something new about me that’s slightly embarrassing.

The main reasons are that it was the first Christmas album Jasmine and I listened to together and it was background music for our first kiss.

…That was awesome.

I know most of you will answer this question with Mariah Carey’s album, but I want to know…

What is your favorite Christmas album?

  1. Twisted Sister’s Twisted Christmas. I know, I know everyone is turned off by the Twisted Sister part. But if you get past who is singing and listen to the album, it is really good, no really. They do all the classics, and with class I must say. If you don’t like any hard rock, maybe you won’t like this. But I even got my mom to work this into her Christmas Album rotation.

To me Dee Sinder is to me, that Bing Crosby was to my parents at Christmas time.

2nd place is Reliant K’s Christmas album.

    edit BING, not Ben Crosby.

  3. Our family tradition every year is to play the California Raisins CASSETTE TAPE while we decorate at Mom’s. Good times 🙂

  5. Oh darn, my fave IS Mariah Carey. :p
Also really like Amy Grant’s Christmas song, “Mary”. A totally different perspective on the happenings behind-the-scenes on that holy night. 🙂

  7. My favorite album is a compilation including “Mary Did You Know?” I love that song, it just speaks to the mothers’ heart within. Plus, I actually heard Mark Lowry sing in once – priceless.
