Are you an individual who was once successful, but is now wondering how success has slipped away? Are you a head of a once-profitable company that wonders how things are the way they are right now? Are you trying to get things rolling again after taking a break from it all and just can’t figure out how to make it happen?

Yes, it could be many different things, but have you looked at where you are now compared to when you started? For every good change, there is negative change that can happen as well. If you find taking steps backwards easier than making progress, then you may want to take a deep look at how you have strayed from your beginnings.

It also could be time for a rebranding or it could even be time to rediscover who you are. Maybe you have strayed away from what made you successful and you don’t even realize it. That’s definitely happened to me before.

Once you find out who you want to be and you attract your audience, it’s important that you stay along those guidelines, so you are still informative to your specific audience. If you started out focusing on one thing, it’s probably that focus that brought them around in the first place.

So, what are some steps that you take to make sure that you stay constant? You can leave a comment below.

  1. I lost my job at the end of June 2011 and I am still unemployed, so this is something I think about almost every day. I try to surround myself with people who remind me of the awesome things God has done in my life and the things He will continue to do. Reading leadership books and blogs is also something that keeps me encouraged and motivated.

  2. i love this!

steps? learning discipline. trying to find ‘me’, still, and a schedule. definitely working on it. but i DO know what i’m passionate about. that’s a good first step, right? 😉

      • well…having lived under the weight of my choices as a young adult, and choosing to carry those choices on my shoulders, refusing to receive Gods forgiveness…my passion is to help others cut the chains that hold them back. i missed a lot of years while wallowing in my past muck.

and i did some pretty awful stuff. so i know it can be done.
