Helping others isn’t convenient. Nobody wants to do the dirty work, but everyone was called to help others in some way. Take people volunteering in the Atlanta flood relief project for example. There are so many people that need help, inside and outside of Atlanta. It’s time we show God’s love to the world by helping.

Absolutely! Servanthood is the foundation of Christianity in every way! Earlier this week I was thinking how freeing it is to get to the place where our main desire is to serve the Father, and I prayed this simple prayer:
"Father, if I never get a 'thank you' for serving You, it will be enough to hear you say 'Well done' when I get home!" That is a hard prayer to pray in my humanity. I love to bless and encourage, and love receiving it in return, especially from Christians. But God is asking His servers to move to higher ground and let Him be enough as we serve outside of the normal, comfortable confines of the church! Thanks for writing this article!
