We discussed Christmas albums the other day and you found out that I liked *NSync. Yes, I even put the “*”.

So, now we gotta decide the best Christmas movie of all time. My favorite is “It’s A Wonderful Life” because of all the awesome memories watching it every Christmas with the family. Love it.

The other three Christmas movies I can’t miss watching during the holidays are “Home Alone”, “Elf” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas”.

I will say that I absolutely cannot stand “A Christmas Story”. There I said it. I know some of you hate me now.

I can’t think of any religious Christmas movies that I love. Actually, I really can’t think of any religious movies that I watch during Christmas time. Missing the whole point on that one… Maybe.

With all the Christmas movies out there, which movie is your favorite one?

  1. Did you mean A Christmas Story? If so my opinion of you did drop a little ๐Ÿ˜‰

I agree with yours but I also love the Grinch (Original cartoon version), and all those stop motion specials like Rudolf.

  3. I’m a huge fan of both “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” They both end up delivering good messages regarding Christmas without beating you over the head with them in my opinion. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. My favorites are ‘A Christmas Story’ (mainly for nostalgic reasons), ‘Elf’, and ‘Christmas with the Kranks’. I’ll usually watch ‘Christmas Vacation’ and ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ too. Depends on my mood.

I prefer the funny/sentimental movies to the ones that are a little more serious.

      • Say whaaat? It’s so memorable! And sooo quotable. Let me help you out:

“You know, the thing about romance is… people only get together right at the very end.”
or “Hiya kids. Here is an important message from your Uncle Bill. Don’t buy drugs. Become a pop star, and they give you them for free!”
or “Let’s go get the s*** kicked out of us by love.”
or maybe “I am Colin. God of Sex. I’m just on the wrong continent, that’s all.”

Okay, maybe it’s a bit questionable. But heart-warming, nevertheless. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. ‘A Christmas Story’ has become my all time favorite. I’m surprised nobody has mentioned ‘Miracle on 24th Street’ which is a classic.

Two off-beat ones that I select that aren’t necessarily Christmas movies but to take place during Christmas are ‘Die Hard’ and ‘The Ref’ with Denis Leary and Kevin Spacey. The latter is absolutely hilarious.

  12. It’s A Wonderful Life tops the list – it’s a classic that you just have to watch every year. Elf is becoming a new family favorite as well. As for A Christmas Story – well, let’s just say our family is split on this one. It is my wife’s favorite, and when it goes into the DVD player you can bet I’m looking for something else to do : )
