I am passionate about making a positive impact on the small Alabama town that I recently moved to. I am an accomplished female, African American, senior citizen. Of the 6,000 residents in my town, 357 are Black. I have 2 mixed granddaughters (6 and 15 yrs. of age) who were born here. So, it’s important to me that they imbrace their African American Heritage.
