Sometimes people will categorize forms of communication into many different groups, but to make things easy, I want to focus on the three basic forms of communication: verbal, written, and nonverbal. Verbal communication includes spoken word. Of course, written communication includes books, blog posts, newspaper — anything in print, really. Since nonverbal communication entails communicating by sending and receiving wordless messages, this includes forms of communication such as visual art and body language.
