i have to take a break from all this baby talk or pretty soon this will become a full on dad blog.
not that there’s anything wrong with that.
we all probably have some sort of goal. whether big or small, they’re there.
and then we have distractions. those things that block us from reaching those goals.
they can either block us completely or they can just delay it.
the world has tons of these.
yesterday i sat down and thought of all those daily distractions that i either say “yes” or “no” to.
let me tell you, this list was long. it was so long in fact that it became overwhelming and i just stopped writing them down.
the first one on my list was watching television.
i mean this doesn’t have anything to do with anything i want to accomplish.
i watched ten tv shows today! yay!
yes, i believe there is time to relax.
and you can relax with the things you like to enjoy.
if that’s tv, then by all means watch some television.
but, maybe there should be a limit to it.
whether it be tv or surfing the internet.
yep, i said it.
that was my second distraction on the list and i get lost in it sometimes.
it’s like my distractions sometimes become my goals without me even realizing that they switched.
