I hope things are going great for you right now and that you are enjoying life, because that’s what is easy and fun. It’s easy to be happy in these times. These times are great because this is when it is easiest to pour into close relationships and be there for others. But, rough times come for reasons. Either you made decisions to get there or things just aren’t going great just because. However you are where you are at, if you are in a rough season, you can and will learn something. You learn how strong you are, what to do when you are in a situation like this again and how you can maybe avoid these times in the future. But no matter what, you learn a lot about yourself and how much strength, endurance and perseverance you really have. I love these times, because it shows just how devoted you really are. It’s worth embracing these times and growing through them, rather than running from them. Be open to growth. Don’t dwell in these times, but create good change for the situation. Learn from experience.

Going through a tough season? The toughest seasons bring the most growth. Persevere through these seasons. Things are about to change. Don’t give up.

  1. Excellent insight and reminder, Adam, thank you. We have a tendency to want to jump out of crucibles, rather than letting the crucible refine us and transform us.
