That would be great if you didn’t make mistakes and there was never any regret, but maybe you have some regret about some things that have happened in your past.
Thank God that your mistakes don’t define who you are or who you will become, but God and grace does. The thing is that you will make mistakes, you just want to make fewer of them, right? A man’s character isn’t determined on whether or not he’s perfect, it is how he handles himself when he makes a mistake.
Give up on being perfect. Don’t let that be your excuse. Let that be your sanity.
What’s a situation that you’ve been in before that looked bad in the moment, but turned out for the good? What did you learn from that? You can leave a comment below.
We’ve had a few in our marriage, namely job loss. My husband has been laid off a good chunk of our marriage, always looking for a job in between. But realizing that he’s home, and savoring that time together has been a great blessing for our family 🙂

I really like this post. I once regretted leaving a school leadership position at the urging of my family but soon realized through prayer and understanding that it was the best move for my continued growth as a leader. I was able to affect many more people through that move and the subsequent moves that God put in my life.
So awesome, Joe!

Love this!!! And it’s sooo true! It’s not about the mistakes we make, mistakes make us human. How we handle them is what develops our character. Love the comments below, too. 🙂 very inspiring all the way around!
