I enjoy reading a good old-fashioned book over an iBook on the iPad any day, because there is nothing like turning pages. And the awesome smell of a new book is pretty amazing, too. In the picture above are books that I have purchased in the past few months, but haven’t read yet. Now you know what I will be doing for the next month or so.

I've recently gotten stuck into C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity". It's the first time I'm reading it and it's definitely a must-read classic!
On the fiction side, I've just gotten my hands on Niall Williams's "Boy and Man," which is a follow-up to the brilliant "Boy in the World".

Usually I read about 7 books at a time. At the moment, I am focused on Desiring God by John Piper, followed then by The Cross of Christ by Stott.

I just finished "Transforming Church in Rural America" by Shannon O'Dell (reviewed it here – I'm now reading "Deadly Viper Character Assassins" by Mike Foster/Jud Wilhite and "Mentor Like Jesus" by Regi Campbell.
Lots of guys are reading O'Dell's book b/c his publisher is giving copies away in exchange for blog reviews. A sort of grassroots effort, I guess.
